Can I change my order?

Yes. No applicable fees apply if the order was changed prior dispatch of the item from our warehouse. Please note that we dispatch all our orders within 24 hours.  For order changes, please contact at (0433178375 or noveltyfurniture.melb@gmail.com


Can I cancel my order?

Yes. No cancellation fees apply if the order was cancelled prior dispatch of the item from our warehouse. Please note that we dispatch all our orders within 24 hours.  If in case the item left the warehouse, applicable fees apply. What if I do not like my order?

95% of our customers are happy with our furniture (we don’t manipulate our photos- what you see is what you get!), but if in case you don’t like it, you may return it to us and we will issue a store credit of the item cost. Returns are subject to 12% stocking fee + Return Shipping Cost.  Shipping and re-delivery cost will not be refunded.

We allow returns for all of productsexceptfor the ff: Mattresses, Bedding Accessories, Items that are no longer in their original condition and packaging, Altered goods and Clearance Sale items.


When will I see my refund?

We will immediately issue a full refund or item replacement for faulty items.

 

We try to process all refunds within 24 hours upon notice. The refund normally appears 2-5 business days upon issue. For refunds, please contact at (0433178375 or noveltyfurniture.melb@gmail.com


What if I made a mistake assembling?

Our assembly instructions are cleverly designed so that everyone is able to install our furniture with ease. We were so committed that when designing the instruction steps and manuals, we hired ‘dummies’ with zero furniture assembling experience to test out, we made changes to the manuals along until not a single person makes any mistake assembling so you can have a peace of mind that nothing will go wrong.

Well, sometime, somehow, people make mistake during installation but you have absolutely nothing to worry about as we are willing to send replacement part(s) for absolutely free should you damage the unit when assembling. We believe this is how shopping furniture online should be. Talk about risk free purchase!


What if my product damaged during transit?

This one is even easier, in case you received a damaged product, simply send us photos of the damaged or affected part along with your order number to noveltyfurniture.melb@gmail.com– we will review and get back to you with a resolution within 24 hours with the ultimate goal of making a seemingly bad experience into a positive one.

We will either arrange to collect the product and send you a replacement free of charge or offer partial or full refund (again, case by case basis).

Does not cover the following:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage arising from improper assembly or modification
  • Damage arising from abnormal use or abuse
  • Damage, wear and tear as a result of improper or lack of maintenance and/or care
  • Damage to external or product packaging only


How to return?

We will arrange a pickup from your given address, simply let us know the date and time and we will do the rest.

To make returning as easy as abc, you can leave the goods (must be in original box!) out at your front door or with your concierge and our appointed driver will pick them up straight away. You do not need to be present at the address to wait for the driver.


12 Month Warranty

All Novelty furniture comes with a 12 month warranty against any manufacturing defects and any other issues with the materials that have been used.

The warranty does not cover damages due to usage of the product beyond its intended use and wear & tear in the natural course of product usage.


Mattress 20 Year Warranty

Warranty applies to the following Defects:
● Deterioration causing the mattress to have a visible indention greater than 10 centimeters  that is not associated with use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or adjustable bed base.
● Any physical flaw in the mattress that causes the foam material to split or crack,
despite normal usage and proper handling.

This limited mattress Warranty does NOT cover the following:
● A normal increase in softness of the foam pressure-relieving material which does not affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress.
● Comfort preference.
● Physical abuse or damage to the structure and/or cover material, including but
not limited to, burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage, or stains; provided, that the
defect is caused by such abuse or damage
● Mattresses sold “as-is”, “preconditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, “comfort return”, “returned”, “previously owned”, or any other similar wording indicating that the mattress is not “new” or of “first quality”, or has previously been purchased or used by another consumer.
